A study of a USA marketing agency calculated that the average cost-per-thousand reach of balloon advertising is lower than other media, including newspaper, billboards, radio, and TV.

Each dollar spent on corporate balloons has drawn more public attention than any of the other media listed above -- as a matter of fact, five times (5x) more. Furthermore, this data only considers the people who saw the balloons on location, ignoring that ballooning events will often generate television, print, and radio coverage far beyond the local area, thus increasing the value of this advertising by thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Different means will help to reach different targets: while a hot-air balloon provides an increase in brand awareness, for other simpler operations cold-air inflatables or helium blimps and spheres will be of use.

* A balloon provides strong local and regional community support when it is sent to participate in local and regional events and festivals, gathering people attracted by this aerostat.
